Fighting For Our Lives

Single Jingles a Testicular Cancer Foundation was founded by Matt Ferstler a young testicular cancer survivor. When Matt was diagnosed with testicular cancer, he was frustrated that he had not learned nor knew of testicular cancer and that there was little to no information on testicular cancer available. Moved by the need to tell everyone about the importance of self-exams and early detection, Matt started Single Jingles Foundation (SJ Foundation) in October of 2009 to provide education and support to young adult men, in an effort to raise awareness about testicular cancer.

As part of Matt’s treatment, his left testicle was removed, leaving him with just one and thus, as he puts it, a “Single Jingle.” The thought of losing a ball can be unbearable for some men, but it beats the alternative. Matt chose to be empowered by his new “configuration” rather than defeated by it.

Single Jingles™

It is with this spirit that Matt assembled a network of Single Jingles, the TC survivors who power SJ Foundation. Their mission is to provide education and support to young adult men, in an effort to raise awareness about testicular cancer.
